Friday 31st March

What a wonderful term it has been getting to know the children and seeing them develop friendships and relationships not only with each other but also their teachers and peers! I cannot wait till next year to find out how further they will grow :)

Friday 24th March

This week has seen the end to our transport theme, we have made cars, trains and planes and the children worked together to make a boat and our classroom is looking pretty awesome!

When we painted the trains this week we learnt new ways to use the sponge, wiping the paint on the paper as well as blotting it.

Our city scape is looking good!

You can see your child's work as you walk in through our city area and inside the classroom by following the train tracks.


We have also added a tent to our classroom and our encouraging the children to use it when they want soem quiet time or are feeling sleepy. It is a quiet and calm area for them to chill out in whenever they want.

Friday 17th March

Good afternoon, this week we have had a very active week, the children have been learning to throw and catch a ball in P.E. as well as kick a ball between them. In music the children were able to play with some new instruments and they enjoyed figuring out how each instrument worked. But most importantly, they are really becoming good friends now, they seek each other out for play time and are communicating with each other and sharing their toys.

Friday 10th March

I am so happy to say that the dynamics in our class are becoming more and more positive as the children start to really make friends with each other and seek each other out for fun and also to help each other. Is amazing to see how polite and helpful everyone is!

This week we have been super busy with our transport themed lessons. The children have been very creative and made planes to fly high over the city outside the classroom and they also worked together to paint a boat for our ocean in the classroom.

We have also had fun building this week; Daisy and Willy are excellent builders!

Friday 3rd March

A huge warm welcome to our newest classmate and friend, Daisy - she has settled in really well and everyone has been very accommodating towards her.

This week we have been getting to know each other and it has been nice to see the children working together as a big group as well as breaking off into smaller groups to play and learn together. The children are much more comfortable now seeking each other out to play as well as playing independently.

It has been a long day!

PNS Class Meeting

This term our theme is transport and we will be focusing on 4 key vocab words 'plane', 'boat', 'car' and 'train'. The children helped make the rainbow last week in their art lessons and they have been making paper airplanes this week to hang in the sky.
